How to move funds from Mimo Balance

This guide is for you if you already have Mimo Wallet set up but still have funds remaining in your Mimo Balance account.

Step 1: Use Wallet details for new transfers

To make sure funds are sent to the correct account going forward:

  1. Go to Wallets → Manage funds

  2. Select the relevant wallet (GBP or EUR)

  3. Choose the transfer type (Local or SWIFT) and method

  4. Use the displayed details for all future transfers into Mimo

Your Balance account details should no longer be used for incoming transfers.


Step 2: Move any remaining funds from Balance

If you still have funds in Balance and want to move them to your Wallet, withdraw to the matching currency (GBP to GBP, EUR to EUR):

  • Copy the relevant Wallet bank details (GBP or EUR): Wallets → Manage funds

  • Withdraw from Balance using those details: Balance → Manage funds → Withdrawal

Timing

  • GBP transfers are usually instant (Faster Payments)

  • EUR transfers may take 1–2 business days

Prefer to withdraw funds back to your regular bank account instead?

Go to Balance → Manage funds → Withdrawal and enter your bank details.


Step 3: Confirm reconciliation mappings

If you previously used Balance, make sure your Wallet accounts are mapped so transactions continue to reconcile correctly.

  • Go to Settings → Reconciliation

  • Set up account mappings for the Wallet accounts

If automatic mapping doesn’t apply, select Custom and configure the mapping manually.
