Setting up and using two-step verification

Mimo uses two-step verification (also known as two-factor or multi-factor authentication) to help keep your account secure. You’ll be prompted to set it up during your first login by linking your account to a mobile phone number. From then on, every time you log in—or if you’re logged out due to inactivity—you’ll receive an SMS code to verify your access.

Not receiving the SMS?

  • Restart your phone to refresh your network connection

  • If you’re travelling, try switching to a local mobile carrier

  • Turn Airplane Mode on and off, then request the SMS again

  • Make sure your phone has a strong signal

  • Double-check that your phone can receive SMS messages

Still having trouble?

If you’re still unable to log in, or if you need to update your phone number, contact us here and we’ll be happy to help.
