To make payments using Wallet, you’ll first need to top up the wallet. Currently, you can hold funds in GBP, EUR, and USD, and you can transfer funds in all three currencies. To get the transfer details, go to the wallet you want to top up and copy the account details shown there.

How to find the bank details

Go to Wallet in the left-hand menu, where you have two options:

  • Click Manage funds in the upper-right corner, then select the relevant wallet to display the banking details. From here, you can choose between local or SWIFT as the payment rail, and the details will be shown.

  • Alternatively, click directly on the wallet (indicated by the flag matching the wallet currency). From there, you can decide whether to add or withdraw funds, and the details will be displayed.

Fees associated

Fees depend on whether the transfer goes through local payment rails or SWIFT:

  • GBP / EUR: If you transfer GBP or EUR locally (e.g., via Faster Payments or SEPA), neither your bank nor Mimo will charge a fee. If the transfer goes via SWIFT, fees will apply.

  • USD: If the bank account is in the US, transfers are processed via ACH and no fees apply. If the account is outside the US, the transfer goes via SWIFT and fees will apply.

Transfer times

  • Faster Payments: transfers are usually instant.

  • SEPA: transfers typically take 0–2 business days, though they are often instant.

  • SWIFT: transfers may take 1–5 business days.

  • ACH: transfers may take 1–3 business days.
