Invitations

Receiving an invitation to join Mimo means that someone from your business or firm has invited you to their account. By accepting, you’ll be able to collaborate on the account, manage payments, and unlock flexible financing - all in one place. You may be invited to join either a company or a practice in Mimo.

Practice invitations

As an accountant or bookkeeper, you may receive two types of invitations:

  • Invitation to a practice

An admin from your firm has invited you to join their practice account in Mimo. From here, you can collaborate across multiple client accounts and manage onboarding, payments, and approvals in one place. A practice provides a structured way for firms to work with clients, offering better control, streamlined workflows, and easier collaboration across your team.

  • Invitation to a client account

You may also be invited to join a specific client’s account. This gives you direct access to that client so you can manage workflows, tasks, and collaborate with others. Your level of access will depend on the role assigned to you.

Accepting invitations

Invitations can be accepted either:

  • Through the invitation email sent to you, or

  • By signing in directly on the Mimo website.

Once logged in, you can also view and accept invitations from your profile page within the Mimo platform. This is especially useful if you’ve received multiple invitations - simply go to Profile → Invitations to manage them all in one place.
