Indicative per-transaction limits for local payments

Per-transaction limits vary depending on the payout currency and payment rail used. Payment rails include local clearing systems (such as domestic bank transfer networks, like Faster Payments in the UK) and international networks like SWIFT.

These local limits affect the maximum amount you can send in a single payment. If you want to make a payment that is greater than the local limit, you have two options: split the payment over multiple local transactions; or consider making a SWIFT payment instead, which generally allows for higher limits.

The table below shows indicative per-transaction limits when using local payment rails for selected payout currencies.
