How do I set up Auto Reconciliation?

Mimo can automate your reconciliation process.

In Settings, you’ll find the Account Mapping option. Set up account mapping from here to link your accounts with the corresponding ones in Xero or QuickBooks. Don’t forget to click Save when you’re done.

For Xero Users

Mimo automatically updates invoices as ‘Paid’ and sends a bank feed with the transaction to match the bill payment.

To enable this, map your Mimo Balance account(s) to a bank account in Xero. When you pay through Mimo, the corresponding bill in Xero will be marked as ‘Paid,’ and a bank feed will be sent to the mapped account.

For Mimo Flex

When using Mimo Flex, you must map both the Principal (the amount used to reach your Mimo Flex limit) and the Fees. Set up Mimo Flex as a bank account in Xero. Additionally, map the Mimo Flex fees to an expense account and add Mimo as a supplier for fee allocation.

Important

We recommend that you don't disconnect a bank feed, as reconnecting it later may cause duplicate entries to be sent.
