Mimo’s Onboarding Guide

Whether you’re an SME setting up your own account, or an accountant/bookkeeper creating accounts for clients, our onboarding process is designed to be simple, clear, and efficient.

After clicking Get Started, you’ll be redirected to the sign-up page where you register as either an accountant or a business, create your account, and set your password. Once confirmed, you’ll be taken to the set-up guide to complete your application in five easy steps.


The 5-Step onboarding process

1. Company details: Enter your business information (name, address, website, etc.) so we can set up your account correctly.

2. Directors: Add directors and select the applicant director, who makes the final sign-off. The applicant must be an active director.

3. Company ownership: Provide details of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) - anyone owning 25% or more - including ownership percentages.

​4. Identify verification: We collect ID information for the applicant director and UBOs. If needed, you can send requests so they can upload it themselves.

5. Review & submit: Check the application, edit if needed, and submit.

  • Applicant directors can submit directly.

  • Accountants/bookkeepers send it to the director for final sign-off via email.


When will I receive an update?

Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed through standard KYB checks by our banking partner. Activation times can vary - some accounts are approved instantly, while others may take up to 48 hours.
