How do manual payments work in Mimo?
Manual payments in Mimo allow you to make payments to recipients that don’t have imported invoices from your accounting software. This is useful for example for pro-forma payments, PAYE, VAT payments, and expense-related payments.
How do I make a manual payment?
Uploading an invoice
Start by uploading the invoice to Mimo. The system will automatically extract key details such as supplier information, tax rates, and descriptions. You’ll have the opportunity to review and confirm the extracted information before proceeding with the payment. If you upload a document but cancel the process, the payment will be saved under the Drafts tab in the Pay view, allowing you to complete it later.
Entering payment details manually
Alternatively, you can manually enter the recipient’s details, including bank account information, account name, payment method, and other relevant details.
What happens after the payment is made?
Once the payment is processed, it will be published to your accounting software. Currently, Mimo is integrated with Xero and QuickBooks for seamless record-keeping.
