What is Mimo Fetch?

Mimo Fetch makes Mimo the first destination for financial documents, starting with supplier invoices. This allows businesses to organise and publish invoices to Xero for payment at a later stage, streamlining the accounting process. By automating document handling, it saves time and reduces manual work.

Who is Mimo Fetch for?

Mimo Fetch is designed for SMEs that struggle to keep their Xero accounts up to date, as well as for accountants and bookkeepers who want to streamline reconciliation and bookkeeping for clients using Xero.

How does the workflow with Mimo Fetch work?

Drag-and-drop invoices

You can easily upload invoices directly to Mimo via the Documents page or forward them by email. Mimo’s AI will extract key details from the documents, which you can then review and publish to Xero.

Once published to Xero, the invoices will appear under “Awaiting Payment”. In Mimo, these payments will appear in the Pay tab under the Inbox, ready for processing. Once payments are made, Mimo automatically reconciles them in real-time.

Forward invoices by email

You can also forward invoices directly to Mimo by email. Simply use your unique invoice forwarding address and make sure to attach the invoice as a separate file (this is important for proper processing). Your unique invoice forwarding address can be found under “Upload documents” or Settings > Company details.

This custom email address is linked to your company and can be shared with suppliers so they can send invoices directly to Mimo. Once received, Mimo will automatically scan and process them for you.
