Understanding payment statuses

What’s the difference between Sent and Settled?

After you process a payment (immediately or on its scheduled date), it will appear in Pay → Paid. You may see one of these two statuses:

  • Sent: The payment has been dispatched by our banking partner, but we haven’t yet received confirmation from the recipient bank. This confirmation typically takes 1–2 hours, after which the status updates.

  • Settled: The recipient bank has confirmed the funds have reached the beneficiary, and the payment is completed.
