Introduction

When making payments with Mimo, you have the option to schedule payments for future dates. It’s both quick and efficient, allowing you to easily plan and automate your payment process. The steps for scheduling invoice payments are outlined below.

Selecting Invoices for Payment

To schedule a payment, begin by navigating to the Pay page in the platform and selecting one or multiple invoices. If you’re selecting invoices from the same supplier, you’ll have the option in the next step to group them into one payment or process them separately. Once you’ve made your selection, mark the invoices for review to proceed. You can still follow the same process even if you’re only selecting a single invoice.

Setting the Payment Date

If you selected only one invoice, the option to group payments won’t be available, and you can proceed directly to setting the payment date below. However, if you’ve marked several invoices from the same supplier for review, you’ll first have the option to group them into one payment or pay them separately. If you selected multiple invoices from different suppliers, you can process all the payments at once, but each will be treated as a separate transaction.

After that, you can set your preferred payment date by selecting the correct date on the calendar, as illustrated in the image below. The payment date must be in the future, but it can be scheduled for any time—whether it’s just a few days or weeks in advance. In this example, the payments are scheduled for one week from today, but you can choose any future date that suits your needs.

Choosing Your Payment Method

The final step is to choose your payment method. Mimo offers three options: Bank Account (via Open Banking), Mimo Balance (in EUR or GBP), and Mimo Flex if your business is eligible. All three options are illustrated in the image below, and if you’re scheduling multiple invoices, they will all use the same payment method.

If you select Bank Account as your payment method, please note that the funds will be withdrawn immediately, not on the scheduled payment date. However, the money will be stored in your Mimo Balance and paid on the specified date. If you choose Mimo Balance as your payment method, ensure you have sufficient funds available on the scheduled payment date.
