Drafting supplier payments with planned dates

Planned dates allows you to prepare payment runs in advance by creating drafts for both supplier payments and payroll. It’s a helpful way to organise your workflow and get ready for upcoming payments without needing to send them for approval immediately.

Creating a draft

To create a draft, start by selecting one or more invoices and choosing the option to set a planned date. Once a date is selected, all the marked invoices will be grouped under that specific day and shown in a dedicated card in the Planned Dates section.

Updating a planned date

If you need to change the planned date, simply click on the draft card and select the change date option. From there, you can choose a new date and confirm the update. The selected invoices will remain in draft status, just with the revised schedule applied.

Removing a draft

To remove a draft, open the card under Planned Dates, click the remove icon (the trashcan), and confirm. This will unassign the planned date and return the invoices to the inbox, so you can either leave them unplanned or include them in a future run.
