As Mimo continues to evolve, we've made the decision to discontinue Get Paid, our accounts receivable product, from 1 August 2026. From that date, the customer payment portal, Xero payment service integration, payment reminder workflows, and the Get Paid tab in your Mimo account will no longer be available.
Why is Mimo discontinuing Get Paid?
As Mimo's product offering has developed, we've chosen to focus on our core payments and accounting workflow features. Discontinuing Get Paid allows us to direct our efforts towards the areas where we can offer the most value.
What do I need to do before 1 August?
To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend completing the following steps:
Remove Mimo as a payment service in Xero: Go to Settings → Payment services and remove Mimo. This prevents broken payment links appearing on invoices sent to your customers after 1 August.
Stop sharing Get Paid portal links with your customers: any existing links will stop working after 1 August.
Disable any active reminder workflows: Go to Settings → Reminders.
What happens if I don't remove Mimo as a Xero payment service?
After 1 August, the Mimo payment service integration will no longer be active. Any "Pay with Mimo" buttons on your Xero invoices will stop working, which could cause a broken payment experience for your customers. We recommend removing this before the deadline to avoid any disruption.
What should I use instead for collecting payments?
For most businesses, Xero's native invoicing combined with GoCardless for direct debit is the closest alternative to Get Paid and works seamlessly with your existing Xero setup. Your Xero and GoCardless accounts are unaffected by this change.
What happens to my customer and invoice data?
Any customer and invoice data currently stored in Get Paid will no longer be accessible after 1 August.
Does this affect Mimo Pay or my other Mimo features?
No. This change only affects Get Paid (accounts receivable). Mimo Pay and all accounts payable features continue as normal.
