Review & Adjust helps you close the month faster by highlighting what changed in the period and helping you create and manage the adjustments you need. No more rebuilding schedules and journals in spreadsheets.

What it covers

How it works

1) Review the period

Mimo prepares a P&L review that compares your current period to previous periods and highlights variances that may need attention. This helps you quickly understand what changed and what needs an action versus just an explanation.

2) Get suggested adjustments

When Mimo detects something that likely needs adjusting (like a prepayment or accrual), it surfaces a suggestion with reasoning and evidence to support your review. You stay in control, suggestions can be accepted, edited, or dismissed.

3) Manage schedules

Accepted items go into schedules. Prepayments and accruals have separate schedules, so it's clear what will hit the P&L each month and what remains on the balance sheet.

4) Publish journals to Xero

Schedules generate journals that sync to Xero. You can publish automatically (auto-publish) or manually with "publish now," depending on your preference for control.

Your monthly workflow

  1. Open Review to see what changed and what's flagged

  2. Work through suggestions: accept, edit, or dismiss

  3. Check schedules for the month being closed

  4. Publish (or let auto-publish handle it)

Control, audibility, and learning

Every suggestion is reviewable, you decide what gets posted. Schedules provide a clear view of what was adjusted and how it releases over time. As you accept or dismiss suggestions, Mimo learns your preferences to reduce noise and improve relevance over time.
