What happens after I sign up and verify my email address?

After signing up with Mimo and verifying your email address, you will be guided through one of two registration flows: SME or Accountant/Bookkeeper.

What if I choose the Accountant and Bookkeeper registration flow?

If you choose the Accountant and Bookkeeper flow, you will be directed to the Accountant Client page. This page provides a comprehensive overview of your client accounts.

What can I do from the Accountant Client page?

From the Accountant Client page, you have complete control over your client accounts. You can manage existing clients and easily add new ones to your portfolio.

How do I add a new client?

Click the “Add New Client” button on the Accountant Client page and follow the prompts to sign them up. When you bring a new client onto Mimo, they’ll receive an email invitation to join the platform. You can complete the 6-step onboarding process or allow your client to do so. However, if your client is completing the onboarding, it must be done by a listed and active business director. To ensure a seamless experience, we recommend you handle the process on their behalf.

What should I know about adding new clients?

Each new client is treated as a separate entity and must complete our client onboarding and Know Your Business (KYB) process. This process involves verifying the business’s legal identity, gathering essential information about Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and directors, and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. Once this verification process is completed and the client is approved, you can manage their account through your Mimo platform.

What happens after my client is approved?

Once your client passes the onboarding and KYB process, you will have full access to operate their account via the Mimo platform.
